Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

What allergens do you avoid?

All of our products are plant-based (vegan) and free from sesame seeds, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts*. We also offer some of our products in a gluten-free (wheat free) form. These items are generally more expensive than their wheat based counterparts due to the cost of the gluten-free flour prices. We do not have seperate facilities or kitchen space for gluten-free baking, but do thoroughly clean equipment and practice proper safe food handling to avoid cross contamination. We are actively working to accomodate more allergies in the future, and will keep this ongoing list updated. *Our custom "butter" blend does include organic, RBD coconut oil.

Are your baked goods packed in plastic?

Not at all! As a company, we're hugely dedicated to the environment and have chosen a no-plastic policy when it comes to our packaging. All of our packaging options are biodegradable (cellophane), compostable, and we ask that all vendors present our goods in the same manner when choosing their own means of packaging, if opting for their own.

Are your products fully organic?

Unfortunately, our products are not fully organic. While we work to buy organic products when possible, we also work with some suppliers that practice all sustainability and practices of organic certification, but have not yet paid to be certified. Our ingredients in detail are available upon request.

Is your chocolate safe for people with allergies? Where does it come from?

We work with a wholesale distributor that sources our chocolate from a factory free from all of the top 8 allergens. We are working to find out more specifically where the cocao is sourced from, but can say that our distributor is listed on the Food Empowerment Project's list of recommended chocolate (https://foodispower.org/chocolate-list/). We have committed to only working with chocolate companies on the recommended list by FEP as part of our commitment to working toward a more sustainable and just future.

Is there an order minimum?

We do not currently have any order minimums for our business partners. We hope this helps our new partners ease into offering plant-based options and slowly adjust their orders to match their customers' needs. We do have a $60 minimum for one-time purchases from individual catering events.

Can I pick up my order instead?

Because we do not have a storefront at this time, we only operate as an order ahead delivery service.

Where do you currently deliver to?

Our current delivery zones include: Manhattan (south of 23rd St.) Brooklyn - Williamsburg - Downtown Brooklyn - DUMBO - Navy Yard - Bedford Stuyvesant Please refer to the map for specific areas. Also! Please note, we're always looking to be more flexible at our small scale. Please reach out even if you may live outside of these immediate areas.

Do you have a catalogue or price list?

You can check out our existing creations on our Wholesale Menu, but because we specialize in custom designing the baked goods we sell to the businesses we partner with, our pricing varies from partner to partner. This difference is always in relation to our own food costs and the order size and frequency. To request a meeting with us to discuss pricing or have us send a price quote for something you had in mind, please reach out to us through our Wholesale Inquiry page.

Can I get your baked goods pre-packaged?

Depending on how you'd like to offer the baked goods to your customers, we can provide them to you loose in boxes or pre-packaged. As a company, we're hugely dedicated to the environment and have chosen a no-plastic policy when it comes to our packaging. All of our packaging options are biodegradable and compostable, and we ask that all vendors present our goods in the same manner when choosing their own means of packaging, if opting for their own. For pre-packaged options, we do charge an additional fee per item, as each item is hand packaged carefully every morning of delivery.
